Royal Tahitien Hotel Papeete , Papeete (Tahiti)

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were very large, immaculate, and very comfortable, with a huge comfy bed and a patio offering a view of beautiful landscaped gardens and out to the sea. However, the room was without a filter and seriously polluted, to the extent that it was so dirty that I had to stand on a towel in the shower.

The hotel has some drawbacks with worn-out curtains, limited TV channels, and a small pool but stands out with helpful service and a great location by the ocean. The rooms need more light, had issues with sliding screens and mold, and lacked in size but were ultimately functional for a short stay.

Staying at the Royal Tahitien was a mixed experience. The rooms, although spacious and comfortable with a huge bed and a lovely view of the gardens and sea, lacked adequate lighting which made reading a challenge. The service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to ensure we caught our flight. The location, though quiet and pleasant with rocky waterfront views, needed some maintenance work. The dining options were decent but not exceptional, and the pricing was a bit on the higher side for the overall value offered.
